We are investing in the future of British manufacturing with the construction of our new Siniat plasterboard plant close to the port of Bristol, in South West England. Etex is making a significant investment in the new factory, which is one of the largest expenditures from Etex to date.

With the new Bristol facility, we will be ideally positioned to support the ongoing growth of the UK construction market, its customers and those looking to begin a career in the industry.
The plant was commissioned in March 2022, and construction is underway.

With the skills shortage cited as one of the sector’s main concerns, training is a key focus of ours. We offer on-site training for installers, understanding installation quality is just as important as the quality of the product in maintaining performance. Our Bristol training centre provides drylining courses to customers, universities and most recently, Cardiff prison. Additionally, our customers have access to a range of digital training courses, helping them get the best from our products and systems.

Etex exceeds 10 and 30-year emissions reductions targets

Leading lightweight construction manufacturer, Etex, has reported a 17% decrease in CO2 emissions per tonne in 2020 compared to 2010 and a reduction of 38% over the past three decades. These results are ahead of the sector’s 10-year target (10%) and the company’s own science-based 30-year target (35%).
